Inspired by her work with old wood and metal type, Munich-based graphic designer Annette Vogel uses manual printing techniques to create limited-edition art books at her studio "Vogelpresse." Driven by perfection, she spends several days with the production of a single copy of one of her books. "Book art to me is a fascinating medium that allows me to create an individual space for a topic, an idea or a text," Vogel says. The artist produces between five and 30 copies of each book which sell for several hundred to several thousand Euros each.
